Please recommend a barcode and QR code reader that fulfills the following functions:

  • reading both types of codes
  • with the ability to program a limitation of transmitted characters (e.g., when scanning a complete UDI code, the reader sends only a limited number of characters > exclusively the first dozen or so characters, i.e., the EAN product code)

The HD-LR66 is such a reader, and you can set the maximum number of characters that the scanner will transmit for a given type of code in it.
